Nav Vilain and Carles Casallachs merge the worlds of poetry and dance in an improvised performance where words flow and movements speak.
"We take the sound emitted by a poet on stage and the movement a body creates. We place them on the same level and treat them equally with invented guidelines that can treat voice and body in the same way and we explore the various ways in which they can affect each other. We encourage a symbiosis that provides neither plot, nor illustration, nor narrative, but is based on fragmentation, rhythm, repetition, with emphasis placed on defining the complicity between the two presences on stage."
Three poems exploring the themes of denial, acceptance and awakening will be our connecting thread, both in their grammatical and phonetic content and in the shared vision they create.
Hosted by CIM Cicle Improvisació en Moviment and performed at Antic Teatre Barcelona.
